For the Panhandle region, Dalhart was the only barn with a posted current-week report, while Amarillo and Tulia Livestock Auction did not publish data. At Dalhart, trade was active despite a lower board. Too few comparable calf sales occurred to establish clear trends, but four-weight steers sold from $425 to $462, and five-weight steers brought $335 to $405. Meanwhile, four-weight heifers cleared at $320 to $371, and five-weight heifers traded between $300 and $350. Feeder steers over 800 lbs sold mostly $15.00 lower as dry country continued to push cattle to market.
